I had almost forgotten about this thread. Since I am at risk of being julienned on the main thread for discussing this subject, perhaps we can keep meaningful discussion of it alive here. I am referring, of course, to the infamous Nomai threat.

I bought back all my 1000 trading shares, once again at the high, expecting this week's PC Expo to keep the big mo' alive. Wrong again, naturally. I put in a sell for them at 29, so I expect IOM can recover short term from this latest Barron's rehash. But I still think it is too risky to hold all 2000 through numbers because of the combined potential of those "whisper" numbers which we are not privy to and the lack of meaningful news from IOM on the status of the lawsuit. If IOM would say something meaningful and positive, I would change my mind.

I am very interested in what long time IOM bulls are planning to do this earnings season - add more IOM before numbers, hold what you've got, sell some, or sell all before numbers.

I am also interested in your assessment of the Nomai threat: short, medium and long term. It's understood that this is just your best take on the sitiuation today, and we need lots more information. I'm just asking for gut feelings based on experience and what we know right now.

My take:

Short term bullish to 29 where I sell 1000 of 2000.
Medium Term bearish to 23 - the bears haven't even begun scaring people with Nomai.
Long term bullish to the moon.

All replies welcome, and remember raging bulls, this is the civil thread.

Signed,
A cautious bull, skinned but not yet julienned.
