Wow! Either this one was hard to find or there aren't that many players yet.

When you reply privately to a private message now, there is a checkbox right above the "Submit" button that says "Keep the message I'm replying to" or something like that. It's unchecked by default.

If you leave it unchecked, the message you're replying to gets removed from your Inbox when you reply.

If you check it, the message will stay in your Inbox. Handy if you want to keep it in your Inbox as a reminder, or file it.
