I repeat......declaring war on false premises SHOULD be considered an act of treason.

I doesn't meet the definition of treason, unless perhaps it was done deliberately to hurt the US and was planned in concert with a foreign enemy.

I think that a more appropriate response for those that think Bush lied on a massive scale about Iraq, or those who think Bush was totally incompetent in either understanding the situation or prosecuting the war would be to vote him out of office.

A treason charge, or even impeachment would be a total non-starter even if the Dems controlled both houses of congress.

Would you charge the Johnson with treason because of his role in the Gulf on Tonkin resolution?
