Bobo, Bobo, Bobo. That is a pretty small concern.

With a customer base of more than 70 companies worldwide, Analog Devices' xDSL solutions are found in 8 of the world's top 10 PSTNs (Public Switched Telephone Networks) and are designed into more than 75% of the world's xDSL systems, from client modems and routers to central office voice and data switches, xDSL access multiplexers and digital loop carriers.

Now lets see.....how many Cisco DSLAMS are installed in these PSTN's? Too small a market penetration to compute.

If Cisco is going to use TI for their octal cards, then there is probably a reason for Cisco to capture a specific market like low power applications, etc that TI or Globespan might have specialized in to capture these different markets. Or the price was low balled because TI and Globespan need to shore up some business. Didn't Globespan just approve another offering for more money!

All of this is moot if CIsco is still going to use ADI in some other DSL equipment!
