Take a peek at the Reuters comment wrt the announcement.
Reuters lists about 4 rumors, simply pounding home the fact that who controls the media rules the world. Think about that next time you see a Presidential election poll, too.

Reuters ends their statement with the capacity swap issue as though it is from reliable sources.

Short interest is 94M as of Aug 15. I expected it had climbed closer to 100M. I can easily see that the GX employees with stock options would be losing their morale, as intended by the shorting interests. The intangibles due to the heavy short interest are beginning to weigh heavily on GX news items. I must assume that once the price got low enough for the funds to exit, the shorts can begin to cover with little fear of a fund running a short squeeze on them. Whether or not the shorts are planning on covering is the bigger question. I expect they are hoping to purchase stock directly from GX without going into the market.
