David I prefer not argue about all that. Yes, k6 is compatible to standards of the industry that were set by Intel. If Intel prefer not to set standards as they are doing right now with slots 1/2/m then it is perfectly fine but it is intels decision to either release the standards or to keep them proprietory. As for DEC then I beleive you know the story..... Regards -Albert
