Yes, no one got killed and I believe they ultimately became friends.

JFK's tax cut in 1962 was done because we were in a recession. A tax cut done when the economy is down will be effective at stimulating business.

But the real reason the economy boomed in the '60s was the Dow Chemicals, the Boeings, and the rest of the Military/Industrial complex(Eisenhower's term not mine) made fortunes off the war, at the expense of 59000 American lives.

Y'all think I'm partisan, but I will never forgive Johnson for the lies he told the American people about Vietnam. Never. And you know what, today people think lying about a BJ in the Oval Office is worse.

Unbelievable. I don't want to get started on Vietnam again.
