On a serious note: Ads for DVD are all over the place... But the players prices are not moving in my local retail area...
Not quite sure why anyone would want to upgrade to DVD right now.. Seems like 98 event.. When people start replacing VCR's, and DVD's will be a few hundred $'s..
On the PC side though.... Give me DVD NOW... As I mentioned previously, about 1 month ago I bought a Ricoh CD-RW. I love it. At the time I bought it, I bought 20 cd blanks... After today they will be gone.. I ordered 25 more today... 650 megs doesn't go very far... the 2.6 gb from DVD-ram will be nice, but 4.8 GB or more will be needed... Just too much information to store on a lowly cd... And when you throw in 4x equiviland speed of 36X, these puppies will be quicker than almost all HD's... Bye Bye WD, SEG, and the rest of them...

cubes next earning report.. This will send cube off into the stars... |
