yes to you. What you have said here is the crux of what drives (drove)
(STILL drives <g>) me crazy about this company. They just don't
DO IT! I dunno why ... I communicated extensively with Bob Frankenberg
and asked "you gonna kick ass?" ... Oh yes, we are. Then with Marengi,
(somewhat <g> -- there was a personal thing going on there) -- "you
gonna kick ass?" ... Oh yes, we are. Then with Denice Gibson, same...
(only she was more pragmatic - that's why she ain't there anymore),
then with Eric Schmidt, -- "you gonna kick ass? ... Oh yes, we are.
(Paul and Salah, and BP can corroborate all of this). Well, here we
are 12/97. Same statements by new people -- good products, best of
breed, etc., etc., and MSFT keeps "kicking ass". I hear ya'. Now what? |
