Asus - Cebit
Asus mobo growth is/was really healthy and it seems that
Intel has found a new partner to build OEM mobos for them -
nothing new, but in the last time, Asus got bigger and bigger
and expanded also to other areas - notebooks, WLAN, Desktop,
Server/Workstation OEM-Kits etc. ...

I heard from someone at Cebit, that Asus doesn't show one
AMD book in public. Ask about Turion X2 - they said, that to show
this product, it wouldn't fit with the Intel partnership.
The same person said, that Asus is developing to a very
strong Intel partner and it could be, that AMD products
aren't a priority anymore.

Seems like some US person has to email to AMD PR and ask,
what this development is all about. I wouldn't be happy,
if Asus becomes a (nearly) Intel only Notebook OEM. Keep
thinking further ... no big AMD push in the mobo and
workstation/server-segment anymore - didn't show up yet, but we
have to look at it. Also when we have the Antitrust Case
in mind. When you ask, Intel is trying AGAIN and AGAIN, to
lock AMD out and is trying to make/close NEW INTEL-ONLY
deals - this sucks.
