Are you nuts? The war we've been needing to do? What, quagmiring ourselves in a messy civil war where we can't tell friend from foe, with open borders all around inviting in hostile fighters who can get easy shots at killing our troops? Have you lost your mind? There is not a single benefit which has comne out of this war for us. We are going to waste a trillion dollars and some 30,000 US troops killed and maimed, plus we have strengthened every unfriendly group in the region. It is a total debacle and clusterf**k. And Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 or Al Qaida. Nothing. Zero. In fact Al Qaida was probably planning to take out Saddam themselves one of these days, if they could. meanwhile in Afghanistan, Bush bmade a promising start then when the CIA needed 600 Rangers at Tora Bora to cut off Osama Bin ALden's escape, they were denied the request, so our real enemy got away and is still at large 4 years later. What a catastrophe. I tell you, almost everything we have done over there since Tora Bora is exactly what Bin Laden would want us to do. So whether you know it or not, you are on his side.
