For USRX, yes. But for AWRE?

Let's assume that the market moves to a model where consumers buy their own ADSL modems. how does AWRE profit? USRX bought the DMTalgorithms from AWRE. Going forward, USRX could sell 5, 10, 20 million DMT modems and i'm not sure AWRE would see any additional revenues.

Besides USRX/COMS, AWRE's other partner in the CPE modem business is Hayes. Unfortunately, Hayes is also going to make DMT modems for Alcatel based on Alcatel's own DMT chipset. Alcatel in turn will sell these to the four RBOCs doing the JPC and other customers worldwide. So even Hayes is hedging.
