You are right I am not a fan of Ron Paul. I see a different Ron Paul, always have. I see a man who is incapable of sane, compassionate thought. A dangerous man. Even Hitler was nice to his pets.
Look closely at what Ron Paul is saying about the subject/conversations you think he is helping. He is not for pulling out of foreign wars for reason of compasion or even smart foreign policy. He is for getting out for reasons of money. He is an isolationist. Psychologically it could be a right wing tendency to move inward and backward. Many conservatives have a simple bunker mentality. Pull the tribe together, build motes, obey the tribal leaders and never change or go into the "forest".
They/he has no idea of us reaching out to the world and integrating with the world for the safety of us and the world. Paul is not a clear, big thinker.
Remember, it was people like Ron Paul, isolationists, who prevented FDR from getting into WWII earlier to help both England and the genocide against the Jews. FDR needed to wait for an excuse Perl, Harbor.
And even his preoccupation with the fed and gold, shows a injured mind to me. Paranoid. And what are his past ideas? Blatant racism, sexism, homophobia and extreme crulety i.e. let them die if they have no insurance.
It is only an accident he is hitting on some of the important issues. A lot of the kids are for him because they still have a limited view of the world and do not see the monster behind the curtain of populaist ideas. Just like so many who like Ayn Rand. Young minds.
Ayn Rand is a beginners hero. Thinkers usually move past Ayn Rand pretty quickley as they learn to see the flaws in her thinking. Same with Ron Paul. |
