It just happened over last year that we came to talk quite a few times about wine over the thread, even polluting sometimes discussions on RMBS. So I said that one day I would start a thread around RMBS and Wine, but, you are right, this is mainly about wine at the moment.
May be indeed RMBS and wine have in common that you have to learn patience to understand and mature decisions. Aging, that is right. Look at all those Net stocks at the moment. They might miss some tannins.
As a statistician, I do think that good investors are artists (a most noble word for me) in their field, hence (correlation) should have a "penchant" for great wines... And I think that RMBS is a very intellectual stock, starting a new paradigm in the essence of silicon.. name of this community.
May be also a paradoxe is something strong, as you mentioned, getting all of this just to the point <g>.
