Warke, President of Augusta Metals Incorporated (the "Company") announces the closing of a private placement of 1,165,000 special warrants ( "Warrant(s)") at $0.15 per Warrant, for total proceeds of $174,750. Each Warrant entitles the holder to receive on exercise, without payment of any additional consideration, one common share of the Company. Any shares issued upon exercise of the Warrants are subject to a hold period expiring September 2, 2000, unless previously qualified for trading.
