The ASX was closed 12/31 - 1/4 or 1/5/00. I have a hard time getting an Aussie quote other than for the end of the following day.

MSN Investor recognizes the ICATF symbol and gives you the US$ (.40, down .12, time of last trade 1/6/00, 12:33 p.m.). I prefer not to have to convert currency.

Yahoo, CNBC, and probably alot of others do not recognize the symbol ICATF.

I get quotes from:

au.finance.yahoo.com

or check out the ASX biggest gainers at:

sofcom.com.au

For fun and a geography lesson, I sometime use:

creative.zdnet.com

Think I ran across NWL today. If so, it is written on some small piece of paper. Was one of the big gainers on the ASX.

Am searching European and Asian stocks, hoping to find some hidden jewels.

Did you find IT Capital from the red herring article? If not and you want the link, I will post it here--although, I think it already is.
