If you wish to support the movie, see it during the opening weekend. The latest I've read is that it will open on 500 screens in the US. Getting more screens will probably depend on the film's performance in the early going. The total gross isn't really important in that respect, it's the per screen gross. $10,000 per screen is a really good take for a theater, and would produce an opening weekend gross of $15,000,000.
