I haven't had the chance to confirm this with gsi, but my guess is any guidant appeal will delay the 30% royalty (although it won't stall the injunction itself). So, just like the $12.9 MM, gsi won't be collecting any money until another trial is completed.

The 7 month delay (in combo with the 2 month decision) was the biggest blow in the ruling. Guidant will appeal, and who knows what will happen over the next 2 quarters while that's in motion. I just hope gsi is out pounding the pavement trying to boost their incredibly low sales and not waiting for guidant to write a check.
