Hi Ken, OFF TOPIC Thanks for your comments. Read most of the article that you pointed to. I have never come across the Internet Explorer. It may well rival the Netscape platform, but it is not a big enough item for me to go out of my way to try it. I will hang in with my present server for the time being as it serves me well. Faster internet access is something we all want, and also to connect to a local phone number anywhere in the USA. AOL probably comes closest to that. The next couple of years, I am sure that we will see a lot of changes in the server area. The cable internet modem 'Road Runner' is being used by many in the San Diego area where fiber optics cable has been installed, and it is getting raving reviews. I reviewed the list of stocks that you gave in your profile. I have lots of Intel and I recently added more AMAT. I went to AMAT stockholder meeting, and since that time I dumped LRCX in favor of more Intel and AMAT. Applied Materials impresses me greatly, but so does Intel. Intel will be under pressure for a few weeks from all the hype about AMD's K6 chip. Once it gets tested and the full facts are known Intel should continue to go up. AMD will be a good short if it ever goes to 90. I fully expect Intel to end 1997 near 250. ( i.e. after 2 for 1 split= 125) I might have a hard time being humble if my wish comes thru, humble carl
