Was TM's cellphone examined for battery life? Was he wearing a Bluetooth earpiece?

Unless he was using a BT earpiece, it's not plausible that he dropped his phone onto the grass, the phone moved on the grass making sounds that Jeantel recognized as grass, and then was turned off by Martin. Did someone turn it off or did the battery go dead? If Zimmerman knocked the phone out of Martin's hand, Jeantel's testimony is consistent with Zimmerman provoking Martin, and Martin reacting by punching him. The first punch landed on his nose. The jury has to decide why did Martin punch him and what provoked it. How it escalated is beyond the point that will determine the jury's decision.

I can't picture Martin punching Zimmerman while he was in the middle of a phone call. The Defense spent too much time, with too many witnesses, on the 911 call. It is the regular cellphone call that is likely to determine the decision.
