Agreement has been reached yesterday between employers and the Metal workers union in Baden-Würtemberg. 4% increase starting 1.7.02 and 3.something July next year. Will probably serve as a boilerplate for the rest of the wage-wars season. So, Mercedes Benz, Porsches, BMWs, anything metal, is rolling again. My opinion: sigh of relief and right away "just a sec, Inflation, we'll be right with you". dj
