Germany and France are already on record that they will not provide any troops for Iraq regardless of who is elected. Kerry's plans have always lacked specifics. While he generally has a fairly good command of the historical facts, he has not been able to translate them into any sort of vision that the American people will buy into. I am very encouraged by today's Zogby numbers. While Kerry may have "won" the debates, he was not able to close the deal. The American people are smart enough to know that being a good debater does not necessarily mean that you will be a good president.
