Try Googling the symptoms. Excellent idea.......it turns out the adware is called Virtual Bouncer and its been reported in 10 countries.......it will teach me to stay away from 'furriners'. <g> One site recommended spyware software to delete it. Just finished the scan......so far so good. Another site showed how to delete it manually......apparently, the adware 'infects' your registry files and then 'spreads' to other files. Lots of fun! Thanks again for the tip! ted
