Teen uses lawn-mowing money to fund incredible Apple collection BY DAVID PIERINI • 9:30 AM, MAY 2, 2016 cultofmac.com -- I bought a 128k Mac when they first came out. They were years ahead of the command line operated PC's of the time. Then, when I realized all 128k did was let you run the OS, I expanded it myself to 512k via a Dr. Dobbs article. I also owned a laptop pictured in the this article, but it was biege. Apple foolishly failed to exploit it's OS advantage, and now PC's are actually as good or better I use a PC now.. It's sad. --
