Claude, I do not think that Southernera have really started to mine their dykes at depth.(They are just now starting to process the first ore from an actual dyke)

newswire.ca

They have mined a couple of blows and they are mining the M1 pipe. The blows are really a lot more like a pipe than a dyke.

newswire.ca

"Kudu Pipe (100% SUF)
Delineation of the small Kudu pipe by drilling and trenching is underway.
Three large diameter reverse circulation holes (12.25 inch) were drilled
recently into the Kudu pipe to depths of 48, 57 and 75 metres respectively.
These gave an average drilling prospecting grade of 75 carats per hundred
tonnes (CPHT) which is an improvement from the previously announced surface
sample grade of 9 CPHT. The results indicate a significant increase in grade
with depth as occurred at Sugarbird Blow.
The average value per carat of the
initial surface sample from Kudu was $203 per carat. It appears that another
fissure is present near the southern margin of the Kudu pipe but further work
is required to delineate this body."

If you can, check out some of the work done by Dr. Luc Rombouts.
He evaluated the fissure-dykes in Sierra Leonne for Rex Mining.

Dr. Luc Rombouts is one of the leading authorities on diamonds, diamond exploration, evaluation and mining in the world. I believe that he is presently working with Rex in Mauritania.
