You are being somewhat inconsistent. You just got through saying that you did not trust the government to regulate the Enrons of the world because you think the government is corrupt. Laws don't prevent crime. Law enforcement prevents crime. If you are defrauded, a civil action is a good way to get compensation. Civil law enforcement.
