The Mountain Down
_________________

Machine roared into rock, grinding ground
Tear a hole, rooting into mountain stone
Ripping, rolling boulders down
Along the river, flowing on

A Eagle Soared

Belching thunder, sound of tearing ground
Move the dirt, to build with stone
Rushing, pushing deadlines down
As the sun goes circling on

A Eagle Turned

Move more in to hallowed ground
Sell the keys to our hills of stone
Profit, pleasure. Nothing down
Clouds drift in, life goes on

A Eagle Screeched

Bill on the Hill (crowded hill)
