I wonder, given the butt load of technology being place in new televisions, whether Apple is making a mistake to avoid the market by creating the add-on box.

If Apple made a television could they create value so as to avoid the commodity pricing that is found on the back wall of every Walmart and make money on it? Or would it merely dilute the brand?

I wonder.
