Mr. tech2000, About two weeks ago(?) there was a study release that was just concluded about MSFT windows effect on the PC market and consumer. It was authored by the Battell Institute or an organization like that. It stated that since MSFT's Windows was the defacto standard the prices of PC software has gone down dramatically. It stated that the consumer was the major benefactor of lower software prices and better quality software. Do you know where that report might be on the web? Thank You JK
