Just finished debating felon disenfranchisement on a Philadelphia talk-radio show. My opponent, a Rutgers professor, said a couple of times that this is "the most serious civil rights issue remaining today." Well, if that's true--that is, if the only thing left is to make sure that criminals can vote--then I think we can all declare victory and go home.
