to have a smaller share of the India Market is not a loss. It's going from 0 phones sold (I know it's not actually that low, but...) to X million phones.

Also, growth of the number of users who could afford a phone is a LOT higher than in the west where the growth of the middle and upper class is nil

Access to labor.

There's no downside for AAPL to move into a new region.
