Douglas, it was probably me, that brought the A Team term to the thread, but I must credit the Mule for term.
It is in no way derogatory, nor is it meant to be, and Colleen's definition would be similar to mine.
The way I see it, there is GE management, with TT at the hub. From there are ever widening groups of people to whom info flows starting with the "inner circle". The A Team would be the next ring, outside company management, employees, lawyers, accountants, and insiders, to get the tidbits of info. They then pass on, sometimes filtered, sometimes embellished, sometimes just plain wrong, info to the next group, and generally, the farther out you get, the weirder, the info. |
