Thank you for all the detailed information. I concur we must be vigilant and nimble. Earlier this year I focused on buying dividend growth stocks but weaned off after they got to overvalued. I have very little exposure to the Mag 7 and started nibbling last year. Bought big chunks, for me, in April - should have bought more! Now I have frozen additional buys of Mag 7. In 1973 I obtained my first professional job. I was married and we both worked and were rolling in money. Spent most of it buying a house and rental properties. The 70’s were a lost decade for the stock market. If stagflation shows up again I will probably sell most of my stocks and buy short term (6 to 9 months) T bills. The vast majority of my stocks are in tax deferred accounts. For now, I am not making any drastic moves.
