for anyone running blackice defender (with a note on windows me restore points).... i have been perusing the readme file for the blackice update (2.5.ch) networkice.com (that became available, i think, about one month ago) and noted under Known Issues and Limitations that: "On Windows Me, restore points do not automatically occur. Work-Around: Periodically, manually set restore points." my user license expired with networkice, but through a series of emails i did get the support people to extend it to pick up this upgrade. i'm not positive that i want to install it just yet, hence the readme review. thought i'd pass the info along :) mark
