Lindy, the answer to 1/3 + 1/4 isn't 7/12, it's 0.33333333333etc + 0.25 = 0.5833333333333333333333333333333333333etc

And anyway, why would you want to add one third and a quarter? Oh, that's right, the USA is still in the stone age, with ancient weights and measures. There's a modern system of measurement called metric.
