After my excursion to the new Apple store today I may have uncovered the secret Jony Ive contribution to the Parsons Table. There are 2 and here they are: 1. Hair Longer shot of hair. As you can see the cords disappear through the hair into hidden outlets. And........ Slight of hand magic: hmmm, a seemingly poorly seamed inset of some sort. Watch and all will be revealed.......... What your intrepid reporter failed to do was capture this in a video because what looks like a clumsy photo with an unknown person's hand is the key to the "slight of hand". She is rubbing her hand across the table to the left of the outlet box to open it. Rubbing the table again will close it. Other than that I can report that the 3 employees with whom I spoke all had thoughts about the possibility of pigeons making a home in the trees. In fact when I voiced my thoughts to each of them they all had the same response which was " That was the first thing I thought of too!" So far no pigeons. The ginormous glass wall/doors is/are pretty darn impressive. They are huge! Another failure on the part of your reporter........should have shot it in video...... From top to bottom: I am ashamed to have no better pics. I was called for my "genius grove" appointment and spent so long with that that I just had to get the heck out-a-there. I do feel the highlight was the hair in the slot down the middle of the Parsons tables. Bet it will be really fun to clean. Oh!!!! I almost forgot. There is a cleaning person constantly walking around cleaning smudges and fingerprints off of the stainless steel walls and another cleaning the glass inside and out. I sure hope they get good bennies.
