I know a lot of people personally, and at work that buy computers, of many varying sizes. I don't know of any that would buy an AMD or Cyrix based machine. I don't care if Cyrix has 5 to 10% piddling more performance in their goofy P166+ or whatever terminology they call their machines. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole, or 2 five foot Italians (I can say that being Italian-American) :-) I have a strong suspicion that just about everyone, from individuals to PC, W/S, Server makers to industry IT people all feel the same way. Survival of the fittest, period. What does Schwartzeneger say, Hasta La Vista, baby? No wonder Cyrix asked the editor of Arnold's latest flick to remove the part about "Cyrex" being blown away.
