Aren't you just the sweetest thing! Do you really think the topaz looks nicer with my eyes? I do really like my diamond though --I could get silver contact lenses to match, maybe....that might be striking! BUt if you really like the topaz-- Not for a moment do I think that there's a connection between those thugs who came to the door this morning looking for you and the fact that you're offering to replace the diamond with the topaz, not at all! I would never think so low of you. But you can be so trusting, my dear Thomas, and I don't want anyone to rip you off on this topaz.. I'll just hold on to the diamond for a bit and have my appraiser take a look at them both today...
