Bob: I have been waiting for something like the Adams, et. al. report for months now. In the recent semi-equipment rebound from the lows, consensus had been that 1999 was the promising year to be discounting in the market. That is the consensus still. I knew it would just be a matter of time before someone would try to chip away at that notion <g>. I think Adams, et. al. is the first house to start selling the idea that 1999 will be disappointing. We may see some rough waters in this sector to the extent that other houses start to sell this view and/or it is adopted by the market.
