You claim the parent believed that "the street" would not comprehend their investing in SONO if they kept it inhouse.Regarding differing margins of ATL's portfolio vs. SONO, that would be an absurd reason to divide the two firms. Or, I suppose companies are supposed to sell a complete product line with monolithic margins for all products?
