This is certainly an unnecessary distraction: biz.yahoo.com Blue Coat Says SEC Launches Probe Thursday April 7, 4:24 pm ET LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Internet-monitoring equipment maker Blue Coat Systems Inc. said on Thursday that the Securities and Exchange Commission had launched an investigation that the company believed focused on the possibility of insider trading. "The company believes that the commission is investigating whether certain present or former officers, directors, employees, affiliates or others made intentional or non-intentional selective disclosure of material nonpublic information, traded in the company's stock while in possession of such information, or communicated such information to others who thereafter traded in the company's stock," said Blue Coat, added that it was cooperating with investigators.
