A while back I posted some thoughts on setting up a pilot plant without first proving up the property through sufficient assaying. It always has seemed to me that a production plant operating without a clear map of where PMs are reasonably believed to exist is a recipe for major disappointment. However, even if the plant does not produce the PMs (or economically viable amounts of PMs), that will not necessarily mean the property is not rich with PMs. We may be seeking to extract PMs from the wrong area(s), depths, etc. I hope the tests that have been done to date are a reasonable indicator of where the PMs are and sufficient for a production plant program. However, from what Kim Brasington once posted regarding the different levels of assaying a property and where Naxos is at in that process, we may not be in a good position to be running a production program. Hopefully this is not the case and production proves successful.
