Cyrix.

There's a certain Preying Mantis in the microprocessor chip area, that we don't have the likes of in the storage control board or chip business. AMD, Cyrix, IDTI, Rise, wake up every day looking at that beast. LSI has Adaptec, Mylex and a few other not so predatory competitors to contend with. Symbios still the best purchase any company I own stock in for the past five years has made.
