Rambus

I'm really thinking in terms of the wannabee gorillas. Perhaps Rambus. Is Rambus a Gorilla? I believe that is NOT decided. Is it being priced as such? Well, it's 4 times as expensive today than it was a week ago! Yikes! There's a lot more risk in that price than there was at $70.

Rambus is outrageous. I'm thrilled to pieces for all of the Rambus diehards who stuck to their guns during an enormous onslaught of FUD.

OTOH, I think its price is way ahead. Its profits will ramp up more slowly than we thought a year ago; moreover, a year ago, we were looking at an eventual stock price of $500 to $1000. At $300, much of the future is priced in. There may be exceptions, especially if Rambus finds its way into a significant telecommunications segment, but I think even the Rambus diehards have to believe the stock price is outrageous over the past 2 weeks.
