Dwight, I also was thinking of shorting ASND,that would not have worked. HLIT did crash about 4 months ago from 24 to 15. But that was just shear panic. TCI news had no bearing on a company that is just coming into its own, probably one of the best run companies I have ever seen. Well your right if your playing with momentum stocks with high p.e.'s your going to get killed sooner or later, its just when. I still see a lot of high p.e. potential crashes out there. I am planning on doing research on them soon, but never short something everyone else is shorting like ASND,or even SBUX. The shorts tend to hold them up in the rarefied air. I think the best thing to do right now is wait for a crash in a stock that doesn't deserve it,on news that doesn't really affect it like HLIT,ORTL both crashed and have come roaring back. I am going to do research like that too. I remember when MBIA crashed because of problems with SOuthern California that didn't affect it,it went down to 42,I bought some and sold out at 68 and now it is in the high 90's. Well either short stocks all the analysts are bullish on or go long stocks that crash that all the analysts are negative on. IBM was 40 when 25 of 27 analysts had sells the same day those analysts had buys on Telmex. We know what happened. Good luck guys Tim
