Ebay gets a fix commission of .25 and up for a listing (depending on how you want it featured, starting bid price and reserve price). They then take 5% of the amount of the high bid (at the auction close) up to $25. Plus 2.5% of that part of the high bid from $25.01 up to $1,000 Plus 1.25% of the remaining amount of current high bid that is greater than $1,000. They will not charge a fee there are no bids or it doesn't meet your reserve price.
