DJ Sirius Up -4: On Track To Launch Receivers By Year End 08 Jun 16:43
John Scelfo, chief financial officer of Sirius, said the company is on track to debut its satellite-radio receivers at stores like Circuit City Stores Inc.
(CC) and Best Buy Co. Inc. (BBY) before year's end.
Its subscription-based satellite radio system will charge $12.95 a month, compared with XM Satellite's $9.95. The potential consumer demands for the service "will justify the price," said Scelfo, adding that Sirius "only need(s) to have a 2% market penetration rate to achieve an economic break-even model." "The market is so large and healthy," said Scelfo, noting that there is enough room for the two players to grow. The company already has established alliance with carmakers Ford, DaimlerChrysler AG (DCX) and BMW (G.BMW).
He said with about $440 million in the bank, Sirius won't need to raise additional funding until later next year.

Sounds like BS, but could be enough to squeeze a few shorts come monday (35% short interest)
Interesting thought, I cant find any sales by insiders at all this year, only buys, and I cant find any 144s filled after the recent rise in price.
Perhaps someone could correct me if I am wrong,
Bocor, could you please post a link where you get all that juicy info on daily 144 filings. Many thanks in advance.
