So I agree the suit is leverage for a settlement assuming Qcom points are valid which I have noted so many times since this thing began that these were the true intentions behind Arm’s actions. Does a settlement do anything to change the course that Arm is on? I’d say no so at this point Qcom has to use the courts and see this thing all the way to the end. Somewhere along the line anti-trust has to weigh in on this to keep a healthy and competitive ecosystem vs having all the spoils accrue to ARM in the not to distant future. Brining everything to light now is necessary and a settlement will only hide ARM’s corrupt business practices and embolden them to continue down that path..
