Over the past few weeks, what companies in the tech sector would you have started to nibble at, if at all. I respect your judgement on Novell, and you may well be right that the company just doesn't get it, and before long it will trickle down another point or so. I'm not betting the house on them, and could handle it if they drop to 6 or so, but I'd rather hope they "do get it". I'm just curious why you and S.F. and others who are very bearish/negative on Novell spend so much time providing input to this thread. Is it more to help potential new investors to Novell out, in terms of caution, or is it just something that makes you feel better since you've been there, and done that, and have felt the pain of disappointment after a number of CEO turnovers and promises that never panned out. Otherwise, time will tell for all of us which way the dice come up.
Hope you got out of dell and others today without any loses. I feel this may be the final capitulation for the techs before they stabilize, but I still get that quesy feeling as to how long the Asian flu will persist. My father did make one hell of a pick on AT&T at 34 3/4, and I hope that Schmidt will have the guts to attack the problems and inefficiencies in Novell, like Armstrong is at AT&T. He's got to be a tough animal and make the hard and smart decisions for the shareholders or as you say, we'll get that "different feeling" as it trickles below 7......
