Speaking of true baseball stories ... We took our two sons to a NY Mets game. The younger one was only 7 at the time. He had a friend at school named "Ronnie Gomez". Since there were two "Ronnies" in his class, they called my son's friend "Gomez" to alleviate confusion. At a point in the game where the Mets had the bases loaded, the crowd started up the chant "Let's Go Mets!". My son said ... "Hey! That's my friend!" (Go Mez) TED
